Development of a new expansive family entertainment center in Freehold, N.J., has just been announced, and RePlay’s own Jersey Jack Guarnieri is right in the middle of it. The project which has been in various development stages for the past two years is called iPlay Freehold and will be located in a newly redeveloped shopping center known as Renaissance Plaza. It will open in the third quarter of 2010.

The facility will take up close to 80,000 square feet, and it will include a full service restaurant, rides, indoor race cars, Highway 66 bowling simulator, redemption, video and instant win games, laser tag, miniature golf, a rock climbing wall, RC Trucks and more. Additionally, there will be at least 12 flexible party rooms as well as a large banquet room for major events and functions.

Robert McDaid, president of Renaissance Properties, is the driving force behind this project. Having over 25 years of experience, McDaid has built Renaissance Properties into one of New Jersey’s premiere real estate development companies. With deep roots in home building, Renaissance has successfully completed over 1,000 homes throughout central New Jersey. In addition to decades of experience in building homes, Renaissance, has also amassed a substantial commercial portfolio consisting of retail and office properties. Renaissance currently controls over 700,000 square feet of commercial space in New Jersey.

“The strong demographics, high profile location and the community support for this project make it a natural,” said Guarnieri, who is serving as a principal, design and development consultant. His company, Elaut USA, will operate all of the games plus a remote control truck attraction at the center. “Bob has been a customer of PinballSales.com for over nine years and over that time we became friends. This is a natural transition into a business that has unlimited growth potential if it is done according to our formula.”

Jack also brought Bruce Glorsky into the project as executive director of operations. Bruce is a seasoned industry professional with senior-level business development / operations management experience of more than 20 years. His combined experience in sales and marketing, property management, and special events management will serve the project well. iPlay Freehold has contracted the services of Dynamic Designs & Associates and Doug Wilkerson to work in a collaborative manner with Guarnieri, McDaid and Glorsky to incorporate all of the play and design elements of this facility.
